Vibrant Urban Experiences
Our goal is to create inspiring places that last for generations
A Healthy Mix
We strive to enrich the fabric of our community with engaging, integrated, transit-friendly environments for tenants, residents, and visitors. Many of our projects integrate existing structures into new, modernized buildings to limit waste while honoring the area’s historic character. Our developments offer a carefully curated mix of amenities and offerings from local, regional, and national tenants designed to meet the needs of the neighborhood. Working with public and private partners, city leaders, and community groups, we incorporate public art, seating areas, landscaping, walking and cycling paths, and retail into a cohesive program designed to elevate everyday enjoyment in and around each property.
By the Numbers
Public art is integral to the urban experience
We are devoted to the belief that public art adds vibrancy to the surrounding neighborhood and connects the community to the built environment. Visitors in and around our developments will see large-scale sculptures, murals, intricate glasswork, and street-level window displays in highly visible locations. View our brochure to explore the many public artworks we have commissioned in the Puget Sound region.

Peruvian cuisine is a melting pot of cultures from all over the world joined in a delicious world of unique Peruvian flavors. In recent years, our cuisine has been sharing its food culture all over the world, specially in cities that love food and celebrate world culinary diversity like Seattle, where Peruvian cuisine is represented at great restaurants. That’s why it’s an honor for La Mar to arrive in Seattle at one of the most iconic buildings, with the best of our Peruvian seafood culture, so we can be part of this beautiful story between our cuisine and Seattle.
Gastón Acurio, Founder, La Mar
“Her name is Maya, and she greets you with open hands. Maya projects a state of mind and a future where equality and compassion reign. Maya is inspired by memories of many strong women and girls in my life: her curly hair from my mother, with her 1970s maxi skirts, the braided bun from my gray-haired British neighbor, and bright, wide-open eyes from my young nieces. The plants on her skirt are bamboo shoots. A stalwart resource for food, clothing, shelter and defense, these emerging bamboo plants embody the past, present and future. All these details endow Maya with the power, resources and love to support you and welcome a glowing future.”
