Rosetta Building
Challenge:
- To build a specialized, 133,000-square-foot biotech facility in an aggressive timeframe to meet occupancy deadlines of the lessor, Rosetta Inpharmatics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck.
Strategy:
- Use innovative construction practices to keep the project on schedule.
Result:
- Vulcan employed special construction practices, including overlapping the shell and core construction with the tenant improvement construction, to keep the project delivery schedule on track. The facility was delivered on time and on budget to the tenant.
